Staying Safe

The health and safety of our guests and employees is of paramount importance to Signet Apartments.

As a result of lengthy consultations regarding Covid Safety, we would like you to know that we are taking every precaution recommended to us by both the ASAP (our industry body) and Visit England. We hope this gives a high degree of confidence to guests who stay with us as we conform to not one, but two standards of excellence.

As a result, Signet Apartments remains open with all appropriate measures in place and on hand to assist our guests during this time.

We would like to ask that if you or any other person you have been in contact with feel unwell with any symptoms of high temperature, flu or respiratory problems to stay indoors and at home and to call the NHS 111 for assistance and then call us. Any guest in-house will be supported as appropriate and as directed by the authorities.

All of our team have been briefed on the guidelines provided by the local health authorities. A detailed contingency plan has been shared with the management team and is under constant review. We are in communication with staff and guests regularly to keep them updated and to advise them of any changes and appropriate measures to take.

At Signet Apartments, we want you to feel safe, relaxed and comfortable. We’re proud to be taking part in the Association of Serviced Apartment’s ‘Stay With Confidence’ policy & Visit England’s “We’re Good to Go” scheme to help you feel reassured during this time.

We appreciate that we are all going to feel a bit cautious about travelling and staying away from our own home at this time. Signet is an ISAAP accredited operator allowing you to Stay with Confidence knowing that we meet the high safety & legal standards. Prior to Arrival

If we could kindly ask that you do not travel if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. Please contact us to let us know and we can discuss regarding cancellation options as we are trying to be as flexible as possible.

For stays greater than 5 nights and when isolating we can assist with a food shop prior to your arrival. Please contact us in advance or your stay to discuss requirements.

Day of Arrival

Our arrival co-ordinator will meet you outside your apartment and will follow the latest social distancing guidelines and use PPE (face mask, hand sanitizer gel/gloves) with keys provided in a sealed bag which have been sanitized in advance.

If we could kindly ask you to wear a mask during arrival and during your stay within the communal areas of the building for your safety and the safety of other guests/residents. We also suggest guests to use the stairs where possible.

Your Apartment

We take care to thoroughly clean all apartments prior to your arrival following the latest guidelines & standards.

  • We have increased the contact sanitisation times for all hard surfaces and touch points such as door handles, TV remotes etc. to ensure they are fully disinfected in between each stay.
  • All of the linen & towels we provide is washed in by a commercial company that adhere to strict guidelines to ensure there is no contamination.
  • The housekeeping team follow an updated procedure with increased checks in place such as using hand gel or a fresh pair of gloves prior to entering the apartment and when they leave as well as a face mask / shield.
