1) Pint Shop 

Address: 10 Peas Hill, Cambridge CB2 3PN

Pint Shop takes the quintessential pub grub to the next level. In fact, the food here has a reputation in Cambridge for providing ‘fancy pub food’. Envisage scotch eggs, onion bhajis, and fresh off the grill burgers. 

The gin menu alone is three pages long, which means if you’re planning on having an alcoholic tipple with your dinner, you won’t be disappointed.

2) The Ivy Cambridge Brasserie

The Ivy Cambridge Brasserie is a young addition to the city but has become a firm favourite amongst the locals for its exquisite menu offering everything from luxury burgers to lobster linguine. 

Alongside getting waited on hand and foot by the best service in the city centre, the stunning interiors are enough to impress any potential client. 

To compliment your meal, you can opt for a glass of fizz or a cocktail. 

Of course, in a truly sophisticated style, tables have to be reserved, so ensure to book your space as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

3) The Old Bicycle Shop

Address: 104 Regent St, Cambridge CB2 1DP

Just as the name gives away, this stunning restaurant was once one of the city’s bicycle shops. 

But not just any bicycle shop, this space was once home to one of the UK’s oldest bicycle shops which had been running for 173 years. Rumour has it; even Charles Darwin purchased a bicycle from this very shop. 

Now, however, the Old Bicycle shop has been transformed into a stunning eaterie which boasts of the most colourful array of modern British cuisine. 

The courtyard is a major attraction of this restaurant, which is a dream to sit and enjoy lunch during the warm British summer days.

The super meaty and moorish hand-made burgers are so popular in the city, the queue for a take-away can often go around the corner.

5) SIX at The Varsity

7) Shanghai Family

If you’re seeking a night in during your stay at our serviced apartments, then the Shanghai Family Chinese restaurant is one of the city’s most loved takeaway destinations. 

With a full range of authentic Chinese dishes available, you can pop open some wine, sit back in your apartment and wait for a real feast to be delivered.

8) La Pergola

In true authentic Italian style, La Pergola is a family-run restaurant in Cambridge offering authentic antipasti dishes, as well as their famous stone-baked pizzas. 

With true respect for local ingredients, the family only use and grow their own produce in an adjoining allotment; and what they cannot grow themselves they source from local suppliers. 

La Pergola is the most authentic Italian restaurant you will find in Cambridge. In fact, it was once voted as England’s best Italian restaurant.

9) Trinity

Trinity Cambridge is the sister restaurant of The Varsity. Which means if you can’t get into one, at least you’ve got a second option. 

At Trinity, you will find the ultimate fine dining, foodie experience. 

Specialising in seafood and meat, Trinity is the kind of place many people go for a celebration as the price will leave some blushing.

In the relaxed, contemporary restaurant, you will have the option of pan-seared duck, to fresh oysters. In fact, the menu simply doesn’t do it justice. Visit their Instagram page (@restauranttrinity) to get a real taste of what they serve up.

10) Stem & Glory

If yourself or your clients prefer vegan dining, then Cambridge does not disappoint. 

As well as many vegan options across all of the restaurants in Cambridge, one restaurant stands out alone as the only vegan restaurant in the city. 

Stem & Glory only offer a plant-based menu, which ranges from superfood juices to a full three-course dinner. In fact, it’s fast becoming the destination for those of the plant persuasion to enjoy vegan food with a true foodie twist.
